Travelogue - The Blue Danube from Budapest to Nurnberg In-Person
Join Gene Wolfarth as we travel the Danube River. We start with two days in Budapest, starting on the Pest side of the river and many sights in modern Pest including Heroes Square and the beautiful city park. We then cross the river to Buda and visit Var Castle, the Matthais Church and the battlements high above the Danube. Boarding our ship, we next stop at Vienna, where the highlight is Schönbrunn Palace. Then on to Melk, Austria and its palatial abbey. The old city of Passau, Germany and its beautiful medieval buildings. Next stop is Reginsburg and its 900 year old bridge over the Danube. We end at Nürnberg, another medieval gem.
