LGBTQIA+ Discussions-cancelled In-Person
Have you ever wondered about the local history of LGBTQ Civil Rights in Greater Rochester? You’re invited to participate in an interactive session exploring how local LGBTQ activists and their allies from the 1950s to today have worked to build a more welcoming and affirming environment for everyone in our community. Kesha James (Our Local History), Shane Wiegand (Our Local History) and Jeanette Adams-Price (Monroe One BOCES) will guide participants through an inquiry adapted from Our Local History’s new lessons for high school students.
