Preserving Rochester's Black History - In This Moment Presentation

Preserving Rochester's Black History - In This Moment Presentation In-Person

In This Moment unveils, amplifies, and preserves the stories of contemporary Black leaders from across the Rochester area. In This Moment (ITM) co-founder, Jeanne Strazzabosco, will share the inspiration behind the creation of ITM, the project’s impact in our communities, and offer attendees time to review a chapbook. All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of ITM’s latest chapbooks.

About this project: In This Moment provides educational resources that restore and repair historic narratives that would have been lost to time. With independently published, freely distributed chapbooks, ITM shares community leaders’ stories, images, and lifelong dedication to uplifting our communities. Since 2021, ITM has published 22 chapbooks and distributed over 22,000 free chapbooks to students and educators in over 80 Rochester schools, elementary through university and to thousands of community members through Rochester and Monroe County Libraries.
