Marie Warda became fascinated with Barn Quilts a few years ago. Since then, she has developed a significant following for her workshops on Barn Quilts at the Village Quilt Shoppe in Webster, The History Center of Tompkins County in Ithaca and The Purple Painted Lady in Palmyra. At this program, Marie will introduce us to Barn Quilts.

About the presenter: Since 1982, Marie Warda from 11^th Hour Barn Quilts, has embraced the world of quilting and sewing. Over the decades, she has dedicated herself to inspiring and instructing others in the art of quilting, sewing and most recently, painting Barn Quilts. Marie taught sewing to children 8 to 12 years old for Pittsford Recreation in the early 1990’s. In the late 1990’s, she led sewing workshops at the Fall Frolic event near Geneseo for 4 years. Now that she is mostly retired, she enjoys more time in the creative arts.
