Try out a "Community Circle" to meet and connect with new people! A community circle is a safe place where all are welcome, and all voices are heard. We will gather in a circle, use a talking piece, and listen to each person speak on a topic chosen by facilitators. The circle encourages people to be open and genuine with each other. Humans are social beings and need human connection. Since COVID, people have become more isolated and alone. The purpose of a Community Circle is to create connection and foster community. The circle is a safe place where all are welcome, and all voices are honored and heard. We gather in a circle, using a talking piece where one person speaks at a time on a topic chosen by trained facilitators. This structure allows for participants to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and controlled environment, encouraging an openness that is quite extraordinary - truly an experience of sharing from the heart.
