MCLS Star Party at Webster Library In-Person
Join Monroe County Library System (MCLS) Member Libraries on Saturday, October 4 to look up at the night sky! MCLS is a proud partner of the RMSC Community STEM Ambassadors program. This event will be held outside in the Webster Public Library's parking lot. Registration is required.
- View the stars with a telescope or binoculars - we'll have some to borrow but we recommend you bring your own.
- Listen to Jim Porter, retired Chief Systems Engineer and Professional Engineer at NASA, discuss, "What can you see in the night sky?"
- See robots demonstrated by the McQuaid IgKnighters Robotics Team.
- Play large versions of your favorite games outside with your family or friends.
- Make a space-themed craft.
- Listen to a story time and join in on a sing-along.
- Enter a raffle for a chance to win a prize - each attendee will get a free raffle ticket!
- Quiet space with space-themed books and legos.
- Free tarot card readings!
