Youth Author Talk & Book Signing with Colleen AF Venable In-Person
Webster Public Library is pleased to host Colleen AF Venable, author of indie bestseller Katie the Catsitter graphic novel series, this winter at Webster Parks & Recreation (1350 Chiyoda Dr, Webster, NY 14580)! Venable is the perfect author for kids and teens. Katie the Catsitter graphic novel series, illustrated by Stephanie Yue, was nominated for 14 state awards. Venable’s Kiss Number 8, a graphic novel co-created with Ellen T. Crenshaw, was longlisted for the 2019 National Book Award for Young People's Literature.
Join us for a presentation by Venable, including a Q&A, followed by a book signing after the talk. Local bookseller Hipocampo Children’s Books will be on site with 3 of Venable's books. Each registered child or teen in attendance will receive a free book for Venable to sign.
Each person planning to attend must register. To register, please visit websterlibrary.org or call 585-872-7075. To ensure we have enough books for all children and teens in attendance, please indicate whether you are registering an adult (ages 18+), a teen (ages 13-17), or a child (ages 0-12). If you register but are then unable to attend, please notify us by calling 585-872-7075.
