Un po' di storia: Rochester's Italian American Community in Historical Perspective In-Person
The Rochester region is home to a robust Italian American community. Its roots stretch back to a tumultuous period in Italian history in the mid-19th century, and its people are part of a diaspora that reaches around the globe. Join us for un po’ di storia (a little history), tracing the background for local Italian American history and memory from the 1860s to the present. Presented by Dr. Michael Brown, a Professor of History at RIT.
Registration is required. If you need any reasonable accommodations, please contact Sue Del Pozzo at susan.delpozzo@libraryweb.org at least 7 business days before the event.
