SUMMARY:Community Building Circle
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a monthly Community Building Circle! We are
social beings that not only need connection -- we thrive and are more
resilient when community bonds are nurtured and
strengthened.\n\nFacilitated by Partners in Restorative Initiatives
(PiRI)\, the circle structure\, where each person has an opportunity to
speak\, in turn\, without interruption\, creates a safe space to make
connections\, build relationships and be heard. Each circle focuses on a
meaningful topic that is chosen by trained facilitators. There is never any
pressure to speak\, or to return\, but PiRI hopes that after experiencing a
community building circle and the relationships that develop there\, you'll
join them again to build community together.\n\nRegistration is required.
If you need any reasonable accommodations\, please contact Sue Del Pozzo at
susan.delpozzo@libraryweb.org at least 7 business days before the event.
