Tuesday Travelogue - Remembering D-Day: Normandy and the Island of Guernsey In-Person
This program will take you to some of the Normandy beaches on D-Day. You will see some of the museums that France has constructed, in memory of D-Day, and for those who died. You will also visit the American Cemetery and Memorial, parallel to the the English Channel. Lastly, visit the English Channel island of Guernsey and see its present beauty, but also see sites from the German occupation in World War II.
The presenter Christine Simons, took this trip during the 75th anniversary year of D-Day.
